This Project aims to enhance the role of rural youth in civil developmental work. The project targeted 25 young men and women from Haifan District, Taiz Governorate. The participants were trained on the following topics:

• Life skills (communication, self-management, personal strategic planning)
• An introduction to civil society organizations, their goals, types of Clusters and their benefits.
• How to effectively engage in development work and building initiatives.

The project ended with a workshop in which a map of the most important issues that need community development interventions was reviewed. Those issues were then distributed to the participants so as to form community initiatives and start finding solutions to them in cooperation with the private sector of the district and local or international organizations.

The project was implemented in partnership with Yemen Peace School Organization (YPS)
